David Shire's Apocalypse Now

The Unused Score to Apocalypse Now has finally found the light of Day. Go to La-La Land Records to order this historic Analog Synthesizer Score composed by David Shire, and Orchestrated/programmed by Dan Wyman in 1978. The music was not used in the final theatre release, yet was famous for having been a significant achievement lost to the public! As one of the last electronic film scores using analog modular synthesizers, created before the days of computer control and sampling, just listen to what oscillators, filters, and patch cords can do!

How the Forest Fairies Got Their Wands

How the Forest Fairies Got Their Wands is a new children's book just off the press by Dan and Marilyn Wyman, illustrated by Amy Sirota. It is available for purchase NOW. Just contact Gnorble Music at the email above. This little fairy story uses local plants and animals of the Santa Cruz Mountains in California to weave a simple story of Springrtime Colors. Amy Sirota is a professional art designer whose drawings, color and experience make this little hard-bound book a great treat for intermediate readers (ages 7 through 10), and for older readers to read for children ages 3 and up.
